SpriteForge Documentation
SpriteForge packs your frames into a sprite sheet and writes the atlas file your engine loads. Packing runs entirely in the browser.
Where to start
- Getting started covers a first sheet from a folder of frames.
- Packing explains MaxRects and the options that change density.
- Engine export lists the engines SpriteForge targets.
What the editor does
Bring in frames, or create them with the AI modes. SpriteForge trims transparent borders, packs the frames with MaxRects, and exports a texture with its atlas data. The animation preview plays a sequence so you can check timing before export.
Sheets can use power-of-two sizes, rotated frames and WebP or AVIF compression.
